Services

Here at Brewshill Medical Centre we offer a wide variety of medical services to medical card and private patients including antenatal and postnatal care, childhood vaccinations and regular check-ups We also provide clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). We also provide cervical screening, menopause and contraception services. We offer expert physical exams, 24 hour blood pressure monitoring, electrocardiogram (ECG), Blood tests including bloods for diabetes and cholesterol.

Pediatric Services

Antenatal and Postnatal Mother and Baby Care: We perform 2 and 6 week baby checks as part of the Mother and Infant care scheme. Our nurses or doctors will administer baby vaccinations in accordance with the HSE.

General Pediatric Care: We provide care for those children with the Under 8 GP visit cards. We manage all aspects of children's health and well-being.

Contraception

We provide all contraceptive advice and services. This includes prescribing oral and alternative contraceptive products. We also insert and remove all hormonal and non-hormonal intra-uterine contraceptive devices (e.g. Mirena and the Copper Coils). We also insert the contraceptive implant (e.g. Implanon).

Mens Health

We provide medical care for all general physical problems and concerns. We screen for risk factors of various diseases and give advice on disease prevention. Urinary problems and prostate screening are also provided. We deal with all problems relating to sexual health and provide all screening for sexually transmitted diseases.
